That's a tough one...I may pull a Hanzo Hattori and start off as a ninja and then go off as a lone wolf with my own agenda......I could COME from a secretive clan which is the size of a big family.....I'd probably do the following

Backstory of Secretive Clan & Training > Personal Bodyguard of either Keiji, Ina, or the Daimyo > Go off on my own agenda.

I always LOVED the Sengoku era of Japan SW3 got me started on it. I'd be glad to join if this was made.
