I posted for Uquo in a fairly unique way. I wanted to give him an awe-inspiring introduction, as if he were a truly-beloved leader, but it wasn't mechanically effective here, so I'm going to explain why introduced him this way to everyone:
First and foremost, it creates a timeframe. Roughly 45 minutes-to-an-hour including the conversation between Tanvi and Krane as well as her nap equated to the time Uquo took to show up and visited. This means all roleplayers NOT there can use this timeframe to be there and return to the Rec Center, giving everyone another anchor point. Secondly, there are simply too many characters to make an effective, chronological introduction to each one. This generalized one makes it easier on everyone. Thirdly, it sets the precedent for the recruiters and recruits, and why they're going to stick together. Uquo doesn't have the time to interview each one, so he's allowing the recruiters to be their assessors. This gives structure to the roleplay and character dynamics. Fourth, it also gives a conclusion to Uquo. This means that some RP'ers can miss it, but still show up IC; this is specifically directed at the Ostrich group, but also applies to Shila, Kalani, etc. Lastly, it gives the option to ANYONE that wants a more personal chance to interact on a higher roleplaying level one. All you have to do is opt in to stay for the ceremony and get your chance. PM me for more details, but try to make a valid reason the LEADER OF THE LARGEST REBELLION IN THIS WORLD would want to talk to you. Pretty sure the Ostrich group is ex'd in this sense, but the Airbending masters aren't. This is also to address the different types of rebels. Also, Ostrich group, you guys are going to be given a relatively large sum of money and some equipment, so one of you need to PM me as to why. I'm giving you a slightly different task.
I hope this hammers out a couple things. I was insanely busy today and tomorrow I cover a shift, too. I work a double. Sorry to disappoint; I'm more of a social engineer than I am a prolific writer, when it comes to priorities. And, my priority here was solely to get this ball rolling.
