Aura nodded, backing off with Ryland, being very quiet. 

Caex observed his son's breathing as he slept.

"He's taking nice, deep breaths and he seems to be in a deep sleep. That's good. It means his lungs are healthy and he's getting lots of rest."

"It is, and it makes good jam too" Larek took a taste but had to spit it out. "Ow. Once it cools, that is."

"How about we kiss some more? Wait a minute..." he took his shirt off but kept all of his other clothes on. It wasn't mating time. "Maybe this will help the mood."

"Not at all" Orna replied. 

"Thanks" Veax said to her, taking a sip.
