Larel offered a nod at the idea of moving from the guy, especially if it came recommended from Mera and though he didn't care much for his opinion Alari even said something about it. Besides the faster they got away, the sooner he could find out where Mera ran off too but for now both of their safety was at the front of his mind. He followed Hotaru not exactly happy to hear Ovorion call out to them, he landed on the roof just as the vine pulled Hotaru down, he reached for his sword knowing those weren't coming from Mera but when Hotaru burned them he moved his hand away and looked back towards the ground. He caught the 'shut up' that came from her and he assumed Sybil was talking again, that seemed to be the last thing this situation needed and as soon as the thought came to mind Zenmaru immediately put in her opinion which made his eye twitch. He was pretty sure she did that just because Sybil was, just so he could be in the same situation and thus feel a bit more empathy for Hotaru which he couldn't focus on at the moment, but by not doing so he'd just feel guilty later. He truly hated how she could mess with his guilt like that but he shook his head and flexed his hand letting darkness flow down his arm ignoring her laughter. "I'll take care of the one using vines, run ahead if the opportunity presents itself I'm right behind you. Give me the location Zenmaru," Larel said. "Yes now why would I need it later." He glanced to his right and after a moment he turned his attention forward again, he needed to take out whoever was manipulating those vines and Zenmaru mentioned a presence in the hallway that didn't match the ones around it. Larel extended both his arms and took a deep breath before bringing his hands together interlocking his fingers. When he did the darkness in the hallway seemed to distort for a moment before sharpening itself and sticking out at all angles in the hallway even piercing through some of the walls and ceiling, Larel made sure not to expand them too much to avoid harming the residents but the hallway was literally covered with the expanded shadows. Larel pulled his hands away causing the darkness to return to normal letting out the breath he was holding, he figured it was a shame Ovorion wasn't in there anymore. "Hopefully that did it," he said putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Still best to be ready just in case, even if I got him I doubt there's just one here."
