Evan DeRonde Evan was knocked out of her observatory reverie by an alarm and the Adam guy calling out teams for Capture The Flag. Oh, she recognized this game now. American thing. Wasn't as popular back home, but sometimes they had played a version of it when she was still in school. Wait, fuck, did that mean she was in the States? She certainly fucking hoped not. Of all the places to be, she didn't want to deal with this place's confusing-ass money. Okay, Capture the Flag. She wouldn't be motivated to play in her current mood, had she not been on the opposite team to Gabe. Now that that was a thing, she was a lot more into the idea of the game. Sauntering over to a lizard man with some piano decoration on his back, she listened as he barked orders. Contrary to popular belief (at least in those that knew her) she was fine with taking orders, provided that those orders weren't bullshit. So, deciding to ignore the fact that holy shit what the fuck is this dude what the fuck, she approached him. "You might want to quiet the fuck down, seeing as we probably don't want the other team knowing our strategy there, chef." she glanced around at their teammates, at the scenery in the area, and back to lizard man. She had absolutely no idea what anyone here could do except for a small sampling of Gabe's power. "Look, I don't know what the fuck else anyone else can do, but I have two options. I can go offensive or defensive, depending. It's really not important how, but I don't want any confusion." What she said was true. She could use the telekinetic branch of her power to get over to the base in record time, or she could use her shields to defend the base. Really, she could use both branches effectively in either role. and, the more she thought about it, the more reason she had to change her mind. "Actually..." She corrected, "I'm going offensive. Hope there's no confusion."
