Her height often means she is overlooked or brushed off as harmless. Something she certainly is not. This also makes her look younger than she is; she looks around twenty two at most. She is very lithe, with wiry muscles that give her a certain strength. She is very slender and light on her feet, able to move silently with relative ease. It is what she specialises in. She is quite light, what weight she has from raw muscles. Though she doesn't look intimidating she is one to fear. Her slim body has quite well defined curves. Not quite an hourglass figure, but near enough. And these she uses to her advantage. Her eyes play a variety of emotions, an icy blue in colour with grey hints. Her slender face is just as emotional and vivid in her depictions. Mostly fake, however. She rarely shows her real feelings. Her hair falls down past her mid back, rather long and curling at the ends. It is predominantly a light brown in colour, a mixed colour with blond highlights here and there. She will tie it back out of the way if needed but most often keeps it in a loose ponytail or just free. She has fair, soft skin. She does have scars here and there but they are not necessarily noticeable. Daedhel often wears tight, fitting clothes; both for practical reasons and to show off her body. She rarely wears something loose and flappy, like a cloak, or something completely covering. Profession: Assassin Biography: Born Daelynn L'Fevre, eldest daughter and child in a prominent noble Valanian family. Her parents were incredibly loyal to the royalty and rather important meaning they had many connections and Dae grew up at the top of society. She was around eight when Sarife attacked. Her family stood strong beside the Le Crosse royalty and as a result were murdered upon the annexation of Valania into Sarife. Dae was the only one to escape, her parents and two younger brothers all slaughtered. Desperate and with little options she hid as best as she could until by a stroke of luck she managed to board a ship to Ivalis. It was here that she, eight and now an orphan, took upon the name Daedhel. With a hatred for Sarife and its people now growing inside of her Dae managed to earn a place training to be an assassin with some of the best in the country. She trained for years, learning quickly and having a natural skill in generally getting around unseen and, well, killing people. Upon the completion of her training and now a fully fledged assassin Dae didn't spend much time in the actual job before serving in the Ivalian Intelligence Rings. After this Dae went on to work more for herself, taking on offers and contracts from whoever offered the most at the time while pursuing leads towards more personal goals. While infiltrating a cabal while pursuing one of these leads, trying to find those who murdered her family, she got a little too confident and she made a massive mistake meaning her cover was completely blown and she had to get out as fast as possible. She was completely trapped by Nezam warriors, in a situation where even her skills as an assassin couldn't get her out. It was only with the help of Lucius, who was in the vicinity, that she managed to escape. This fact irritated her quite a bit. Since then she has made sure not to do something so stupid as become complacent or over confident, as it was her arrogance and lack of practice that led to the situation. She has been travelling about a lot, meeting Lucius on several other occasions, continuing to quite happily take up jobs killing people for money. Her travels have taken her to most of the nations, with Ivalis definitely remaining her favourite. She has only recently decided to return to Valania, following certain leads that are connected to personal problems and vendettas and quite happy to pick up a few assassinations that in no way aid Sarife. Notable skills/abilities: Lying, Using Knives, Poisons, Assassination, Seduction, Acting, Getting Around Silently and Unseen, Hiding, Acrobatic, Dexterity, Climbing, Manipulation/Subterfuge, Thievery, Knowledge of Urban Environment, Killing People, Improvised Use of Unknown Weapons, Unarmed Combat, Cunning Other Notes: Has a general hatred towards Sarife and all those from that nation. Appears emotionless and cold, quite enjoying killing. Has been trying to hunt down those who killed her family ever since the event. While his build is not necessarily bulky his muscles are quite obvious and he is well toned and visibly quite physically fit. His eyes are a dark and intense brown colour which are often lit up. His face has quite harsh and sharp angles and is relatively small though not all that bad to look at. His skin is a relatively dark golden colour. His hair is a very dark brown, cut short enough so it is not a nuisance but not completely shaved off. It is unevenly cut with some strands shorter than others. This isn't really something that bothers him. Ash wears relatively simple clothes when not on duty but is more often found in a light armour. Profession: Member of Ghazi Korkud's Retinue Biography: Born in the town of Bilecik, Ashradar enjoyed quite a joyful childhood, family situated at the higher spectrum of the common class. His father was a guard and supplemented this with hunter were possible, having a brilliant skill as an archer. Ash spent a lot of his time as a young child practicing archery and working on his fighting skills with his younger brothers. He got on well with his siblings especially his older sister, who he would often spend time with, and the brother just one year younger. He was always a kind hearted boy and cared a surprising amount about people he didn't even know. Ash's goal was always to become like his father and as a result he practiced with a makeshift bow day and night. He spent a lot of time improving his aim with whatever he could, even if it was just throwing rocks at birds. He tried to make his own bow, which failed multiple times, and treasured the times when his father would take him out and let him use his. Ash had a natural talent for this. Ash had only just turned fifteen when he lost his father. As a guard the man was involved in the combat that occurred within the city walls after the battle between Korkud and Barlas Shah. It was said that he was killed by his fellow guards 'accidentally' during the chaos of the battle. With the loss of the only earner in the family it fell upon Ashradar, as the oldest son, to support them all. Times were hard. Ash worked from day to night doing whatever he could to get just enough to feed his family, with the help of his mother and older sister doing odd jobs, and spent all of his free time practicing with the bow that had been his father's. It only took a few weeks for Ashradar to, very reluctantly, sign up and join the city guard. He was one of the group of guards near the outer gates on the night of Korkud's escape and pledged his loyalty to the man. Managing to bid a farewell to his family, promising that he would return and when he did things would get better, Ash became part of Korkud's small warband. For fifteen years he has remained loyal even though he disagrees with some of Korkud's actions. Ash is not one for unnecessary cruelty. While he is not the best with a sword he's great with a gun, and almost unbeaten at archery. Notable skills/abilities: Archery, Battle Tactics, Map Reading, Survival in Combat, Horse Riding, Archery on a Horse, Marksmanship, Friendliness (Great at getting allies), Diplomacy, Inspiring Others, Making Speeches, Leadership, Empathy Other Notes: Quite conflicted over killing others and the methods of his leader - he disagrees with unnecessary cruelty. She is very scrawny and thin from a lifetime of poor eating, mostly skin and bones. However she is beginning to develop strength in her arms from her work. She is very flat with a general lack of curves that makes it quite easy for her to disguise herself as a boy. It is quite an advantage in her situation. Corisande's hair is inky black. It is short and scruffy, with strands often falling in front of her eyes and often just getting in the way. Her skin is a reasonably dark gold in colour, rather even throughout and often covered in a layer of soot or dirt. She has hazel eyes, slightly more green than they are brown. The clothes at Corisande wears are quite loose and scruffy and she does what she can to hide and flatten the slight curves that she has. Profession: Apprentice Blacksmith Biography: Corisande is the daughter of a farmer who worked on the land of a lord in exchange for food and a home. She grew up on a small village right at the edge of the border between Valania and Sarife on the Sarife side. Corisande was not the only child of mixed heritage in the village as its location resulted in a reasonable amount of mixing through the generations. Corisande is slightly more Sarifen than she is Valanian, with a mostly Sarifen father and a mother who is about half and half. One in six children she spent most of her time in the background, not something she really minded. Food was scarce and only grew scarcer through the years with her father having to work harder and harder to get them just enough to survive. Still with this six went to four in Corisande's life time, with one birth and three deaths in the family. Most of her time was spent helping her mother and slightly older sister cook (if they had food) or sew or clean, learning how to do jobs for women. However she always got on better with her brothers and other boys, loving to fight with them or play some kind of violent game over talking with the other girls in the village. It was something her father always disapproved of but never stopped her from doing. As she grew into womanhood, even if she didn't exactly look like one, the topic of marriage was considered more and more. Her father hoped to secure some more land or a month's worth of food at the very least from whoever she married. This was the last thing Corisande wanted in life. At the age of fourteen she ran away. It took her days to reach the nearest city, which happened to be in Valania, and it was here she stopped, hoping to find some kind of life. She had grown up hearing tales of how brilliant it was in the larger, more civilised areas were not everyone worked as farmers. It turned out that these stories were far from true. Ending up living on the street she had to quickly learn how to fight just to get fed as she had little skills in thievery and she had now wish to lower herself to begin. It was here her boyish appearance did her a favour and she avoiding certain attentions that she could have gained if found out to be a female. Still, she got by and learned to survive on the streets and quickly became decent enough at rather dirty fighting even with her lack of strength. It was partly due to her quick mind, intelligence and inventiveness that she got by. After over a year of barely scraping by on the streets Corisande happened to come across a blacksmith looking for an apprentice. Though she had little skill in her area she somehow managed to convince the man to take her on, partly due to her intelligence and ability to learn. Realising that he mistook her for a boy Corisande made the decision to go by Corin. Though she has been an apprentice for a while she is still very careful about keeping up her disguise as it is unlikely that a girl would be allowed to become a blacksmith. Notable skills/abilities: Survival, Intelligent, Quick Learner, Blacksmithing, Inventing, Weapon Making, Disguise, Problem Solving, Mathematics (Natural Ability with Numbers), Imagination, Innovative/A Visionary (sort of a skill I guess), Ambidextrous, Good Manual Dexterity, Street Fighting Other Notes: Illiterate (probably common but something that has always frustrated her so I thought it would be worth noting). While she quickly learned how to survive on the streets she still doesn't have the best knowledge on cities, and just how different it is to the town she grew up in General Appearance/Feel
