Astrid took her place in line, waiting patiently for her allowance. It was another lucky break that she wasn't going to spend the entire competition broke, but what worried her now were the other contestants. 

[i]They all seem so sure of themselves... I don't know if I could go up against any of them.[/i]

She looked over to where some of the others were gathered, trying to size them up.
