The young mage looked at his master silently for a moment before closing his red eyes and letting out a sigh. "If there's a way to get him back, just let me know. I'll do it in a heartbeat," Maddox said, before opening his eyes. "I'll be lounging around the guild until I see some friendly faces. Though, I do need to find my landlady. I have been gone a few months, so I likely owe her a few months rent..." Maddox let out a chuckle, though it was clearly half-hearted. With that as his own form of dismissing himself, he opened the door to the office and stepped out, making sure to gently close it behind him. After taking a moment to stretch, then another moment to adjust his coat, Maddox took a deep breath and sat down at the nearest chair. "It's good to be back..."
