"It's not your Fault," Alex sighed, " I am just a really light sleeper. Anything can wake me up." She gazed down at Loki on the couch with pity. "You don't look good at all," She grimaced. Alex instructed Loki to stay put and rushed to the kitchen, turning on a few lights on the way. She flung open the cabinets and rummaged through ramen packets and can food until she spied a single bottle of cold medicine. To her dismay, the bottle was empty. Alex threw it into the trash bin with more force than she intended. "Just great," she hissed. Would the medicine have even worked on a non-human? Well, that didn't matter now. All she could do now was wait. "I think it would be best if we both get some sleep. Hopefully, you will feel better in the morning." Alex rubbed her eyes, exhausted. Wishing Loki a good night, she turned off the lights and returned to the comfort of her bed.
