Personality: David MacDonald is stoic and steady when it comes to danger. As a former officer in the British army, he is no stranger to death, but after seeing action in colonial Africa, he bears many scars, both physical and mental and he occasionally has taken to drinking, a fact which he hides from his father, who has traveled with him to Paris.

Specialties/Occupation: Professional Soldier. Amateur Historian.

Strong Points: He carries a [url=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/34/Beaumont_Adams.JPG]Beaumont Adams[/url] revolver, chambered in .476 caliber, and is an excellent shot with it. Despite his drinking, he is in very good shape, can hold himself in a fist fight (and he has). Also, his father is a professor of Roman history at Oxford, and some of it has rubbed off on his on. 

Fears: David is terrified at the idea of being helpless and alone.
