Not all of them though. For example, what would you call a [url=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/73/Candy-PayDay-Broken.jpg]PayDay[/url]? Furthermore, why would you call something that only has a shell of chocolate, like a Milky Way or Snickers, a chocolate bar? You could call those a nougat bar and it would be far more accurate, going by percentage of composition.

Calling them candy bars makes more sense than calling them chocolate bars (or nougat bars for that matter), because chocolate and nougat and caramel and various other shit they're made of are all considered different types of candy, so it's all covered with one name.
