Isaiah wanted to smile and tell her yes, tell her to grab her things and the would run far from here and not look back, but he knew it would be a lie. "I'm not very kingly milady." He said with a small laugh. He was mesmerized by her dark blue eyes and he knew he couldn't hide anything from her. "I wish I could do that for you, but I can't. This kingdom is all I know, and I have sworn an oath and made promises that I must uphold. This... he said sadly. "is already breaking my oath. I swore to the old King that I would protect his family and I swore to Steffan the same...I can't leave him or Lorelai behind, not after everything." His eyes widened as a sound drew his attention away from Irenia. Footsteps! He let go of Irenia and followed madly after the noise. If someone had caught them and told the king he would die, he had accepted that, but he was terrified of what would happen to her. He wouldn't let her die over this! By the time he turned the corner though, they were long gone leaving only a shredded piece of a gown, one he had been watching all day. "Lorelai..." He had broken two of his promises, one to his king and another to his princess in one day. A knight without his word is worse than dirt. "You'll ruin everything you touch Isaiah."
