Griffin life changed the day his mom was killed. His father made no secret that he hated him but simply allowed him to live because he needed a heir. He had every high expectations of his son which Griffin often fell short of. He stopped seeking his father's approval when he was ten. He spent his time planning to escape and take control of his life. Unfortunately he never got a chance to put his plan into action. On his sixteenth birthday his father's gift to him was a brother. Griffin knew he couldn't leave the boy alone at their father's mercy. ------------------------ He looked out at the innocent eyes staring up at him. "This is your brother Samuel. You do as I say and he knows me as a workaholic father. He'll only see me on holidays and school functions. If you don't well he'll see the other side of me." Giovanni told him. Britain's arms tightened automatically and he turned slightly protecting the baby from his father. He had no if the child was his father's or not. He knew it didn't matter. "I get to see him whenever I want. Saturday's are our day together. And I hire the nanny." Not that that would mean much but it was the best he could do. He would protect the child as much as he could. "As long as you do what I want. You fail..." Griffin nodded. He didn't need his father to finish that sentence. He knew what would happen. "Let's Get this over with."
