Hmm... I suppose if Cypress were normal an Ruby were normal and the laws of reality held
I guess I could slow the attack speed down a bit 
Also Cypress is flash and bone not steel and aluminum like a car or other type of machine
And if we want to analyze this then I would say that for Cypress the attack would be a Kamikaze run if all the laws of physics and biology were the same.
Also when Cypress hit Ruby she was at Zero Friction which could also explain both of their survivals, when bullets, punches or other kinetic attacks try to strike Cypress while she's in this state they slide off her ergo it would have blunted her attack for Ruby as well.
