Yes, she will likely jump on Indego (probably not literally) once she's off the ship.

I hardly doubt they would know each other personally, other than maybe having had a class together. I was referring mostly to if any of them had a particularly (in)famous reputation it could very well be known to the others. I imagined Signal to be rather small, having maybe 500-600 students, but whoooo knows.
KK was also bullied and unpopular so it's not like she'd have any friends to know anyone from!
