"Ech! You could have warned me that drink was going to taste like crap!" Takeshi whined, still making faces. And the Narbu were drinking it like it was nothing, they must not have any taste buds. Why did his mouth feel all tingly now too? Eh, weird alien drinks, he'd be more careful in the future from now on. They could keep their drinks, he was pretty sure they had something back in the shuttle anyways. Sighing softly he leaned back a bit, folding his arms over his chest whilst minding his hands. "How come they live in such simple houses, huh? Don't you think they'd live in places more like the base...?" he mused, changing the topic entirely. "I mean... It's warm in here, but it's not exactly fancy. And how does it hold up against storms, you know? It can't be worth building these things if they fall apart." If he was living on a planet like this he'd definitely want a better home, one with more heating than just some fire. The Narbu did have one luxury he was lacking though, masses of fur covering his body. Shu was sort of close, but even he was chilly. Lifting up his shoulders in a shrug Takeshi looked back down at Viral, smiling as he raised an eyebrow. "So you don't get cold at all, do you? I mean, you were practically naked compared to us." Yumi snickered as well watching Takeshi, amused he had drank so much of the foul stuff. She had only taken a sip and hated it, she couldn't imagine finishing off an entire glass like he had. And it was alcoholic no less, evidently he had never had a drink before. "Viral's right, one of these days you're going to drink something really nasty," she said, smirking teasingly. "You should really check what you're drinking or eating before you try it. I can think of plenty of times you ate something and regretted it. Remember the fried larvae back in East city? You nearly threw up when the cook told you what it was!" She could recall his face now as well as his reaction, priceless. Taking a gander about the building she shrugged her shoulders, relieving an itch on her nose idly. "I don't know, it seems homely, I kind of like it. You don't need anything super fancy to be comfortable. Or do you miss getting to live the high life, Mr. Prince?" That got her a stick of the tongue, only making her laugh again. Just before her Viral started moving around, and looking down she saw him trying to sit up. Wanting to help she reached down, sliding her hand under the Beastman's back to support him, gently helping him into a sitting position. "Are you going to be able to walk back? I can help if you need it." Everyone was on about restoring the galaxy to some former glory, none of which Vegeta had any knowledge of. He figured it hadn't always been a mess like it was now, the Saiyans were to blame for the current state of affairs. He'd not put much stock into it before but now he was becoming curious, he'd like to see how things might turn out. To be able to travel among the many planets freely, not just himself but countless others, that was an interesting notion. "I can vouch for the rebels, they're doing the right thing. Korian's methods haven't always been the best, but his goal is what matters. We'll get this war over with and everyone can get back to focusing on prospering and not battling one another." This kind of fighting wasn't enjoyable, not even for someone like him of Saiyan descent. And he was willing to bet that many Saiyans felt the same way, if Kai, Choi and Kabocha were any indication. Their parents were a mixed bag, so maybe the population was split. With any luck they would have an easy time of transitioning the Saiyans over once the King was removed from power.
