Abilities: 
In battle Aoi is not known for his strength or speed even though he is on par with most other samurai, he is known for being a tactical genius. His mind works somewhat faster then others giving him a slight advantage in battle. But his genius is also used outside of battle, he is adept at gathering information through his own methods. The reason that he is regarded as a genius is because his I.Q was boosted after he traded half of his soul to become half oni. 

Personality:
Aoi is a very confident man who likes to rely on his own ability and smarts, maybe you can say he is a bit too cocky when it comes to his abilities. Being a self proclaimed genius he always thinks what he says is right and everything else is wrong. He treats everyone except his father like inferior beings, only holding conversation with someone when he deems it necessary.

Biography:
 Unlike his sister who was born with the same blood of his father lord, Sutomu Aoi was brought unto this world by a different man, his blood father Kimitade Osu. The head of a small clan his father was a very prestigious man known to have survived many battles and vanquished many foes. Known at the time as Kimitade Aoi, as soon as he was born he was raised to be the heir of the Kimitade clan. From the age of seven he was taught how to use a sword, calligraphy, and other things that was required of a samurai. His father was a strict man who always followed the rules, and whenever Aoi got out of line had prepared only the most strict punishments. As Aoi got older he began to harbor a large hate for the man who had raised him, for the way he was being treated. Even though he was the heir of the clan he was treated like a dog lower then a human being
