Jinny smiled as Mr. Josh used the jerky from earlier to make the dog go away. That was very smart, she'd forgotten all about the fact that they had food... she'd just sort of frozen up and not thought. With a nod, she kept on going, her eyes darting from side to side, making sure they weren't going to get taken by surprise again. Some how she knew it wouldn't be an easily distracted dog the next time. The road was coming into view now, and it couldn't have come any sooner. Her hands on the pistol were starting to hurt, her arms too, from holding it somewhat steady while she walked. Being tough was harder than she thought it was... "We're almost there." She shot Mr. Josh a hopeful little grin.
