Besides his apparent hesitation Alex put out his hand which gave Hadley her cue. She placed her hand gently upon his and quickly transformed into an average sized jumping spider. It was the only spider she could do for now, but remembering Py's words earlier- she noted that she would try another one in the privacy of her room.

 She didn't dare crawl or move too much in case the boy jumped and threw her across the room, which could lead to some serious injury. Transforming back swiftly, Hadley didn't lose a single item of clothing in the process. She was getting better, and after transforming three times so far that day, she felt that her skill was becoming easier to process. Though, under stress that might have been a different story. Giving a slight smile and a nod, Hadley spoke to Alex again, [i]"Well there I go. Now, what do you do?"[/i] she asked curiously.
