[/quote] TACP is a team, but if I recall correctly the dudes who're in it are also called TACPs. JTACs are different. I think JTAC is like, a certification that they can get. And JTAC is kind of a catchall term for other services and countries. Only the Air Force uses TACP as a designator or something. But that shit's kind of complicated and there's almost nothing on it on the web. An ALO is an officer doing it. Air Liaison Officer. Not applicable here since that's kind of a different job from an enlisted TACP.
