Evon had immediately regretted her question and her joke when she saw how serious he looked. She didn't know why he suddenly got so serious but she assumed it was because she had said something wrong. Or perhaps she had brought up a topic not worth dicussing? Whatever the case it worried her as she bit down on her lower lip, guessing he would probably kick her out. Though once he spoke of getting the card no matter if she stayed with him or not brought confusion to her face. "No, no I want to stay with you," she mentioned quickly before realizing it could be taken in a shallow way. Who wouldn't want a life of luxury? Evon paused though when she heard him sigh. Listening quietly she was a little surprised that her parents had done that but she was also having trouble believing it. Mathias hadn't recovered had he? He still thought about his wife, he wouldn't even talk to her about it, how could they ever be a couple. Her parents simply didn't want him to be alone, she could easily fulfill that part. They didn't need to be a couple, she figures her staying with him was enough to make him feel less lonely.  "I'm glad you think like that, I'm sure my parents just wanted the best for both of us. I mean you feel less lonely now don't you? We don't have to be a couple... It obviously makes you uncomfortable and I understand. I understand it completely but I do like living in the manison with you...that's why I'm glad to hear that you're alright with letting me stay," she said with a smile. She stared at him knowing his eyes were fixed on the road ahead but he was listening carefully.
