Murphy-Rose Laurent (nee Alvarez)

Her wand is an eight and a half inch wand crafted out of Rowan wood with a Chimera Scale core.
[i]An heirloom wand, the Rowan wand has been in her family for generations. It has been passed through the matrilineal line of her family.[/i]

Murphy-Rose is quite protective and motherly by nature. She constantly loves to tease her step son (through howlers) about his interest in girls and other things. She's quite childish in nature and loves fantastical stories (which was why she accepted her job as a writer for The Quibbler). There is a serious side to Murphy-Rose that does surface when the health and well-being of someone she cares for is a cause for concern.

- She has found employment through [i]The Quibbler[i] - an eccentric magazine that focuses on many 'imaginary' creatures, it was founded by Xenophillius Lovegood. She is also co-authoring a book with Luna Lovegood. 

-Her birthplace is America but shortly after her third birthday her parents moved the family to Southern France where she grew up to attend Beaubaxtons. It was in her childhood that she met Fleur Delacour and the two became friends. 

-At the age of eighteen Murphy-Rose met a wizard ten years her senior and the two started a relationship (despite her still being in school.) From a previous marriage he had one son, who was eight at the time. Three years later the two were married (the same year as Bill and Fleur). Their marriage lasted two and a half years and ended with the death of her husband. She maintains a good relationship with her former in-laws.

-Murphy-Rose adopted her step-son shortly after she married his father. The boy is thirteen now and attends Hogwarts.

-Having met the Weasley family and their friends through Fleur, Murphy-Rose struck up a friendship with Charlie Weasley due to their similar interests.

Neville Longbottom

22 | Gryffindor Alumni| Pure Blood | Auror (formerly), Professor of Herbology

His wand is a thirteen inch wand crafted of cherry wood with a unicorn hair core.

It took Neville a while to find his bravery and confidence. It took him through some trials to be able to call himself a true Gryffindor but now he's always confident in his abilities and his students. Neville has proven to be popular with his students, spending extra time with those who remind him of his younger self- shy and kinda clumsy.

Other;;

-Neville became an Auror immediately after the war. His heart was always set on becoming a professor at Hogwarts, with the position of Professor of Herbology in particular. He left his position as an Auror a year ago to pursue his dream of being a Professor.

-He started a three year romance with Hannah Abbott shortly after the war ended. He proposed to her after a year of dating but the pair never settled on a date. However, the two had everything else planned out such as the colors and location for a wedding. Their romance ended when the two realized they wanted very different things out of life- Hannah wanted to become the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron and live a quiet life away from the memories of war but Neville wanted to become a professor, returning to Hogwarts and ensuring that the following generations would be safe. This lead to many fights between the two.

-Neville's grandmother passed a few months after he became a professor. Her death hit him hard since she raised him but he had Shay there to keep him afloat.
