Alright... with any luck I'll be able to hide my CS so it doesn't blow up the page. If there's anything I should change, or any information that's missing, please tell me!
Name: Korag Gender: Male Age: 120 years (Or something. I haven't got a clue of what the appropriate age for a dwarf in the equivalent to the human early 20s would be, so I went with that) Occupation: Blacksmith/Tinker Appearance: First off, Korag's a dwarf, which means he has long, pointy ears. A short mess of black hair that refuses to be tamed frames his face, in stark contrast with his large, lavender eyes and extremely pale skin that speak of little contact with sunlight. Being of light build, his muscles are nowhere as large as they would be on a human blacksmith, being visible as slightly pronounced contours only instead of the bulging, though those who underestimate his strength are quickly surprised, as he's capable of moving about boxes full of ingots without any issues. He usually wears plain clothes that cover his whole body, and will often be found in his smithing gear, consisting of a simple brown T-shirt and pants of the same colour, both of them heavily singed and even burnt through in some points, and a heavy leather overall over them. Personality: Generally speaking, Korag's rather quiet and on the shy side, preferring to avoid contact with people he doesn't know and attention in general. He's easy enough to get along with once you get past that, though, since he enjoys making others happy. When his craft is involved, however, his passion for it overwhelms the rest of impulses - he might spend hours talking with a blacksmith he just met about techniques when he'd normally not cross more than a couple of words with them, or he might spend days locked inside his forge toiling away at his latest idea, in an almost obsessive way. Half-monster traits: When under stress or by personal choice, Korag transforms into a strange creature. About the same height as him, covered in a short, bristly black fur that helps him sense his immediate surroundings, lacking eyes and with a very powerful, large nose atop a mouth full of blunt teeth, this form is extraorinarily adapted to living underground. Its short, stocky hindlegs are compensated by extremely long arms that reach to the floor, rippling with muscles to allow it to dig with relative ease, aided by equally large claws, though these are adapted to serve as digging instruments and not killing tools - when put together, they form a flat surface much like a shovel, with the added benefit that their sharp tips help in the first few strikes to break the surface. Added to that, the flat of the claws is usually covered in a weak acid, which lets the creature liquify stones in its path and use them to strengthen the tunnel's walls once they recover their solid state. Of course, this form is all fine and good underground... but above the surface it's completely blind, relying only on the whims of the wind for its sense of smell, and the short radius around it where it can sense tremors. As can be imagined, Korag's not all that fond of this shape.
