Depends on which country's military and which branch of that military he's basing his squadron ideal off of.

In the US military, for instance, there are three possibilities. A naval squadron is 3-10 ships. An air squadron is somewhere from 12-24 planes. For the army, however, it could be anywhere from 300-1200 people.

I'm gonna guess Hank meant something in the neighborhood of 600.
