I respect that. You played the game intelligently, subtly, and didn't brag every time you did a little thing right ;) All this game has ever been about was power, not any false causes we - or our characters - make up in our minds. The entire rationale for kidnapping Alexis was to stop the chain of command: she was a leader (perhaps not in politics, but in combat, surely), and in the event of Solterra's death she would be the one to rise up and rally the troops. Couldn't let that happen: I wanted it to end as bloodless as possible. Not because I hoped for Cole to become revered as some sort of prophet or messiah. Occupied fiefs are much more hostile when you've slaughtered half their population in the war. That was it. Cole's entire rationale for.. Well.. Pretty much everything he did since the start of this game (and even the last game). It's been fun, guys!
