As a lore-buff, I don't quite see anything wrong with the character. There are pretty much no lore whatsoever on the Tharn family line that anyone would find it hard to refute that their was at least one heir in the Fourth Era, provided they could at least keep their family name going through hundreds of years, which is hard to do, but not impossible, I suppose.
