I would have contacted Kate myself were it not for the way she was presented making it apparent that it was nigh impossible to do so, certainly for an unstable, out of work bomb disposal expert. Maybe she leaves them to it and then contacts Anonymous and Jack afterwards? Jack just follows the money, so whatever Kate wants to do, Jack will do it if it involves enough cash changing hands, and she is certainly a versatile ally, even if only as an extremely loud and resilient diversion out front while Kate sneaks in the back.
