Cassandra stayed silent, watching Vlad toy and mess with Roxy. She shifted slightly, silent and thoughtful. As everyone else exploded, Cassandra kept silent. Her eyes darted around the place, clearly looking for a way out that wouldn't be obvious, but also looking for anything that might help them all. Getting a collar off that could explode would be hard, but...given enough time, Cassandra was sure she could figure out a way. She bit her lip, pondering this, until they were told what they were going to do. She followed, and then spoke her first words in a while. "the human race is a resilient race. They do not like to be controlled, anymore then we do. History has shown how different races and cultures have risen up above abuse and intolerance, such as with the indigenous populations of the whole world-the Indians, the Aboriginal, etc etc etc. The fact is, people have rose out of hardship, and become what they are today. Treat us like scum, and like we are trash to be thrown away, and eventually, we will rise up. And we will thwart him, them, whoever is keeping us here" And then she fell silent as if she hadn't spoken a word, as if she hadn't said a speech that could very well be taken for treason. She was prepared for any retaliation, power coursing through her as it had since they had experimented on her, ready to use in ways she had no idea how, her body tense, and she glanced about wearily, her gray eyes reflective and alight. She swallowed, but otherwise gave no sign of nervousness and fright.
