Why was he staring at her?! Did she have sleep marks on her face? Was her bedhead really that bad? Did she have a bugger coming out of her nose?! She wasn’t used to get stared at, not to mention as she was holding a cup out to someone while sitting on their counter. Granted, this wasn’t a common circumstance but still, was that something that would cause him to stare at her. Before her brows could drop into a glare, as if understanding that his staring at alternate ideas, he took the cup from her and looked away. Good you better, you may be cute but I’m not a piece of meat. While he was working, she slid her long toned body off of the counter only to find herself stretching more. Reaching up to the ceiling than leaning over and touching her toes, every now and then something would crack and loosen only giving her more flexibility which she proceeded to use in her stretches. When she finished, he was handing her a plate; much to her surprise. A small smile curled the corners of her full lips as she took it from him. “Thank you.” She said kindly taking the plate from him and took a seat at the table, kicking her long legs up onto the nearby chair stretching them out. A small laugh left her through her mouth full of food before she chewed and swallowed. “The fifty fifty split’s going to be nice. I’ll owe you a beer and potato fingers though.” There was a twinkle in her eye, she enjoyed reminding him that he was going to give her half of the money but she hadn’t forgotten that she was meant to pay him back. Maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea after all, he was cute; better looking than some of the other guys she had seen around, and he seemed nice enough. Plus he’s giving her money. Can’t complain there. “So who are we dropping this thing off to anyway?”
