The parasite hissed and acted in perfect cohesion with its host, a noticeable rise in ability was granted with this. Now they were not crippled as they were before, maybe they could actually defeat this beast, though part of the parasite's focus was on Karne still. 

Mason looked out the window seeing the dragon being fought, he readied his blade, the void weapon began to spark up and spiral with dark energy. "I see a lot of standing around so if you'll excuse me.." He said before running up the stairs, moments later a crash through the window could be heard, he was aiming at the dragon but this other adversary probably needed to go down to. Driving his blade toward the enemy that was known as Karne's chest he held an expression of seriousness, he seemed far more focused than any other time, maybe because he felt there was a reason to fight.
