Justine looked surprised when Velis told her story. Justine had guessed that some people may have lost entire families to Cipher but this is the first time she had heard it and she suddenly felt a little guilty for whining about her problems. However, she managed to smile back at Velis. "Thanks," she said. "And now that we're all together on this, Cipher won't stand a chance." 

As if in agreement, Jasper gave a loud and triumphant bark of "Aaaark!"
