Ken'Koris was elated, and should have anyone asked him why he was so happy, he would have said that he had achieved one of his dreams, thank you very much. He walked out of an elevator in a confident pace, looking the world, or rather, the ship's metallic walls and crew, in the face. He nodded and voiced his greetings to his fellow soldiers and engineers as he passed them by, carrying his humble bag while his opaque face mask shone a soft, blue light upon his face. His face mask's interface would let him know the danger level of the surrounding atmosphere and would keep him on the loop about his comrades' vital signals while on mission. But he wasn't looking at such features right now, keelah he wasn't! Because now, he was headed towards a small room he had heard about, deep in the bowels of the ship. It was supposed to be somewhat clean, but he didn't care much about that. What he cared about, was the noise that was perpetually heard in it. Due to its close location to the ship's engines, a soft humming was always heard, not to mention the chatter of the engineers on shift. Such features were enough to sell the room to him, a Quarian who was accustomed to constant background noise and crowded situations. And while the ship's crew was numerous, it still felt somewhat... Empty. He hadn't visited the Command Center yet, but the Engine Deck wasn't very crowded. It was to be expected, of course, but it was always uncomfortable at first. So after a mere minute of walking around and asking for directions, he reached to room. Small, with a single bunk bed, a small footlocker, a shelf and a restroom. Not much room to walk around, but Ken liked that. Reminded him of his recruit days back at the Quarian Navy. He had set his bag down on the shelf and sat down on the lower bunk bed himself, activating his omnitool. After meeting the, in his opinion, extremely advanced Geth, he was getting curious about who the rest of his team was. He had seen his CO already, so there were quite a bit more to check. At the very least, he wanted to get their names and faces straight in his mind. The soft humming of the engines were briefly drowned out as Ken'Koris heard the door to his room open and quick feet stepping inside, before stopping altogether. This sudden interruption was welcome, and Ken looked up with a smile at the newcomer- And just a quickly he was speechless. As his eyes traveled up the stranger's body, he noticed that the stranger was actually a female, and a female Quarian at that. She had quite a beautiful shape and form at first glance, and her suit's soft and dulled green decorative fabric just added to her appeal. But that wasn't all there was to her. Her posture was shy and apologetic, and Ken could pretty much feel a blush underneath her face mask. He was quick to stutter and attempt to stand up, hitting his head with the upper bunk bed's frame as he did so, "Ouch- Uh, I mean... Hello, my name is Ken'Koris vas Yaska, wha-" "I'm sorry, I-I'll go find another room." She quickly said, accent just as clear as Ken'Koris', rubbing her fingers together before turning around, only to be stopped by Ken as he grabbed her forearm. "Come here for the noise, huh? Well... There's two beds. Say, you can keep the footlocker, and I'll keep the shelf." The offer apparently appealed to her, as she stopped and turned around. Ken could see her bright eyes look at his, and he did his best to smile, and have the expression not be lost behind the face mask's damned glow. "Sure, my name's Aela'Bekk vas Moreh. It's nice to meet you, Ken'Koris." She said softly, her posture relaxing slightly and moving over to the footlocker to put inside some of her personal effects. After a few moments, Aela'Bekk climbed up onto her bed and activated her omni-tool. Presumably to listen to some music, but it was impossible to know. Soon enough, Ken'Koris remembered he had a job to do, and as such, he stood up and waved goodbye to Aela, who responded similarly. "I've got to go do some gun maintenance at the arsenal, see you later, Aela'Bekk." He said with a smile as he disappeared out the door.
