That had been one of the children who had arrived earlier, right? But he didn't know which one, so he really couldn't say. Even if he could speak, he couldn't say. [i]And I cannot very well type with one hand while trying to balance this device, either.[/i] 

Unable to answer, he tapped twice on the boy's wrist in a vague attempt at a 'no' and led the two to the door, eventually bringing them up the stairs to the room where the others appeared to be carrying large armfuls of very colourful items from. [i]What...I guess we have to move them?[/i] Curious, he starte toward some of the remaining items, still leading the other two.
