Lightning shrugged then said "Alright, why not. Nothing better to do than sit on my ass while I wait on the attack that may or may not happen." She proceeded to walk away from the two, towards the armory. ------ Magnus grinned as he walked down the corridor and into the elevator. "Magnus the equipment you requested has finally been made. It is ready in your private gear room." BOB Sounded in the elevator. "Excellent...thank you BOB." Magnus replied. He pushed the number 7 on the elevator, level 7 was a off limits area to where only the higher ups could enter, accessed by voice commands, security measures ready to utterly destroy anyone that forced their way in. Down here was all sorts of special gear Magnus was having a team of scientists...experiment..with. As well as Magnus' room. The elevator stopped with a ding and the door opened. "Access Code 01273." Magnus said, as he had many times before. He strode down the corridor, at the end was his room. He pressed his hand to the scanner on the outside and the lock clicked on the door to his room. He opened the door and closed it behind him. On a table in front of him were a new pair of claws, daggers attached to powerful steel cable wrapped in soft cloth attached to a belt, and a trenchcoat. To the average person all these items looked fairly normal, but to Magnus they were new toys of destruction. The claws, longer and bigger than his current were also serrated on the top, made out of a very durable and sharp ceramic material like his sirelings, Dresden, sword. On top of that, small holes not visible by the naked eye, are around each claw on each set of claws. Why? On each glove is a small button, that when pressed, releases a deadly poison from the holes from a container in the top of the gloves. Depending on the dosage, it can range from many doses, to just one almost instantly lethal dose. Depending on the age of the vampire, it can even kill vampires, or greatly inhibit their functions and mobility. The daggers attached to the belt are electrified, the belt being the conduit. Inside said belt are many micro batteries, capable of holding charge for long periods of time. To save charge on the belt, the daggers aren't infinitely charged. Wires imbedded into the daggers hold a maximum amount of power on a circuit infinitely, this also makes the daggers extremely hot burning the unfortunate victim. The daggers attach to small metallic pieces a few inches above Magnus' wrists, a small button at the end of the piece, that when pressed, shoot the dagger out with great force and speed, stabbing into and proceeding to fry whatever is in front of him. The daggers then lose all charge, taking around 10 minutes to fully recharge, they can of course be fired faster but they won't really give off any charge. The cable is fed through two small boxes on either side, so as to easily retract the daggers as well as give Magnus more mobility. Lastly is the trenchcoat, while it looks like an ordinary trenchcoat it has one special feature, it's bulletproof and armored. While as with anything enough bullets will go through any armor, it is still able to withstand a lot of punishment. It is also lightly armored to withstand some melee and blunt damage. It also has a few compartments so Magnus can carry a refill or two on his poison. He took his old claws and laid them on the table, then wrapped the belt around his waist and attached the daggers to the pieces above his wrists, put the trenchcoat on, and donned his new claws. He grinned evilly, with this and his coming army SOLDIER didn't stand a chance. He checked the clock on his wall, time reading 6:45PM. Soon, it would be time. "The rest of your guests are arriving, Magnus. Shall I let them in?" BOB's voice echoed around his room. "Why, of course, the party is just about to begin. While you are at it, go ahead and send a bunker wide announcement telling everyone who was trained to use some kind of weapon to gear up, and everyone to get some armor." Magnus replied. Only a few knew how to use guns, even fewer knew how to do so without shooting themselves. Fortunately the concept of wielding a sword or knife wasn't hard for most of them to grasp, so what, his army was comprised of mostly idiots swinging swords or using their bare hands, what mattered to him was that he had the advantage. Fortunately for him, all current century vampires knew how to drive, even more fortunately he had vehicles. One had even served in the army in his human days, so he knew how to drive a tank. Floor 6 housed the armory and had a tunnel leading out of a hidden exit, perfect for a sneak attack. He opened his door grinning as he walked back, closing it behind him, and started walking down the corridor to the elevator once more. Tonight would be a fun night
