Haruhi Suzumori - Kirigakure Genin - Heading to the gates of the Hidden Mist Haruhi awoken that morning with a rather uncomfortable knot in her neck. Eventually, after going through the motions of the morning: washing up and dressing, eating breakfast, shuffling around in a sleepy daze, the kink had faded away, and what was left was a growing enthusiasm to start the day off right. Some time had passed before she noticed her sensei, Mika, was not in the house, and after looking around a bit, she saw a note that sat on the table she had just finished eating at. "Hm? How did I not notice this before?" she wondered as she picked it up and read it. It was from Mika of course, telling her that the teams was going to meet that morning at the gates of the Hidden Mist. Haru frowned at that. Why would she even want to go near Chou after what happened the last time? The girl pushed a bit of her blong hair out of her face, and as she kept reading, her scowl would get deeper. Yes, you have to go. was written down. She had read it just after asking that to herself in her head. Damn Mika. And you may perhaps learn something new. was the last line of it, and Haruhi knew her sensei had taken advantage of her curious side just then. Crumpling the paper in her fist, Haruhi tossed it in the trash and went to gather her things. Of course she wouldn't miss something like this. Now she had to go because Mika had spurred her curiosity, and not going would hurt more than showing up. She snuck into her sensei's room and stole one of her many bands to tie her hair up with, and used it to draw her dirty blonde locks into a ponytail. Careful not to touch anything else, Haruhi left then and headed out into the village. It was not like Haruhi to rush to these kinds of meetings, often because she purposely strolled through the areas where some villagers were out selling food, and restaurants were just starting to open. Just like every time, Haruhi was compelled to buy some food, Taiyaki as it is her favorite, and had purchased enough to share with Mika and Chou. For once she didn't eat her share because she had some idle hope that they could maybe share a meal together. She was not aware, however, that as she finally made her way to the gates, that a new teammate would already be there waiting for everyone. She had looked around and thought she was the only one present. Pouting and then sitting down with her pouch of food, she groaned out loud. "How in the world did I not even try to get here on time, and I am still the first one?" she said loudly, not caring who heard her or who thought she was being obnoxious.
