Voices! Was... Was he mad? Joseph seriously considered the fact he might as well may have been. But no... It was confirmed he wasn't when he saw a figure appearing up on the horizon. "Hey!" he shouted, suddenly breaking into a sort of limp-run, "Over here!" He waved like a madman, hoping the other person could see him, or even better, hear him. And when the voice answered him with a, "I can hear you! How'd we survive?!", Joseph could have sworn he had a heart attack. Ugh, perhaps he really was getting on in his years, a heart attack with a clean bill of health? But no matter right now, he was too elated to be focused on such a thing. As the figure became definable, Joseph tried to piece together who the young man was. Young, and not part of his crew, a passenger most likely, unless it happened that there was another shipwreck nearby. "Ah, my good man!" he said with a grin once they were close enough to talk properly, "You don't know how good it is to see yet another person upon this wretched island! My name's Captain, well, no, I don't suppose I'm a Captain without much of a boat. Just call me Joseph. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."
