Kido noticed how Ivy pouted back, but things like that really did worry him. If it had just been wood, he would have been fine with it burning, but he didn't want anyone to end up poisoned by accident. 

Trying to move on to something lighter, he nodded at the girl's comment about her brother's teachings. "I'll have to ask him to show me how some of that works later. He did say that he would like to work on some art together at some point."
