There were no classes for the day and Kat had clearly abused the opportunity; in place of her usual attire she wore a long dress which could have been considered conservative if not for the large slit up the side, which was as black as ink at the neckline and a light lilac at its hem, with every shade of purple played with in between. She cut a path through the crowd as she made her way to the cafeteria, picking up on the palpable excitement in the air. For herself she kept her smirk and poise as she gathered her breakfast. She settled for a plate of hot bread, butter and honey, a rasher of bacon and a soft-boiled egg along with a pot of boiling water which when she added what looked like tea begin to give off the sweet, sharp scents of mint. So there she sat, seemingly ignorant of the world around her (though unlikely to be in truth) as she ate.
