"Goddammit no! I don't want to boldly go where no man has gone before!" Abaddon shouted as he was pulled into the swirling black portal. "#Ironically we actually have boldly gone where no man has gone before, and I'm not talking about space," hissed the symbiote as Abaddon spiraled into the new dimension. He landed with a hard thud on the ground below, but quickly staggered to his feet to check out his new surroundings. There was... an eerie resemblance to Sheol... at least if Sheol had been merged with a part of a wrecked portion of Hope City. Did the portal do that? Lurking in the shadows, Abaddon surveyed more of the area. There were definitely aspects of Sheol mixed with a city, complete with some of the otherworldly structures, creatures, and occasional flashes and swirls of lightning and mysterious energy. Also, the torture pits. It seemed that several people had been dragged into them already, but these people didn't strike Abaddon as familiar... or even "evil". "And the strange part about all of this is that despite the familiarity, this world doesn't even seem familiar to me. It looks like a part of Hope fused with Sheol, but it doesn't feel like it..." Abaddon tried to clear some of the corruption away, only to find he couldn't. Same went for actually traveling to the realm itself, it was blocked off due to part of it already being here... --- Apollyon fed on a line of entrails as he sat upon an eerie throne overlooking the corrupted area. It was a wretched scene to say the least, with tortures being carried out and groups of people being goaded on to work harder in repairing the ruined structures. There had been a fight here earlier, but whatever rivaling meta that had been dumb enough to challenge Apollyon for control of the area was now having his intestines used as a delicacy by the creature. "How long has it even been since we took this sector?" Apollyon asked. "I forget, but it's nice to have inferior filth serve and live under me. No rival area has been able to even amount to mine, except for maybe the one ruled by that Kami." That was when Apollyon sensed a new presence, one too familiar to his own but different in several ways. Symbiotic and supernatural. "Grr.... could those rifts have been...?" Apollyon stood up and made his way to where he sensed, literally, his own presence. --- Abaddon "WHAT THE FU-" Abaddon shouted as something crashed in front of him and knocked him off his feet. Odd, why hadn't he detected a hostile threat?! He looked up to see what had attacked him and was genuinely shocked to see what it was. Himself. Kind of. It looked similar to him but with some differences. For one, this Abaddon seemed to be wearing armor, with some parts of it being covered by the symbiote. Instead of the face having a symbiotic visage, it was a human one (save for the eyes which seemed to emanate a weird aura). The actual symbiote face was positioned over his torso instead. From the back came an odd disk like thing which formed an arc over the head, resembling some twisted halo from those old pictures drawn by artists depicting saints. "... Are we on drugs? What the hell? Don't recall myself ever even using that form unless it's a serious battle..." The other Abaddon spoke. "I am Apollyon, controller of this sector of the wonderful city of Fear," he laughed as he picked up Abaddon with an extended claw. "You've dare to enter my place. What rival area are you from? Who do you operate under?!" Abaddon morphed down to his amorphous form to escape Apollyon's grasp. Apollyon? The Greek version of Abaddon? Shit was getting weird. That black hole must have transported them to some different reality. "Don't know what you're talking about," Abaddon growled. "We uh... just moved here... looks like we found a relative," he laughed as he sized up Apollyon. "Funny," Apollyon said. "Now... what torture pit should I throw you into?"
