I'm well up for this. I rather fancy playing me some Slytherin. Will keep an eye on this.:P
Okay.
Are there any guidelines when it comes to any of the more spectacular kinds of things people can do within the Harry Potter universe, such as animagus, metamorphimagus, apparition, Half-Breeds, so on, so forth? A more on topic question would be whether or not our characters would be suffering the effects of the economic regression, I assume so, but what if one were to write up an opulent pure-blood or a professional Quidditch Player and so on? In more plain terms, are there restrictions oncharacters' former profession? There's probably more obvious questions I could ask, but I'm oddly tired right now.
Apparition tends to be expected of adult wizards. I'm unsure if I want to allow "special" skills such as animagus. I couldn't care less about the bloodline of a character though, granted it's not milked in a way similar to the canon history of the Malfoys or Weasleys, Ex: Don't just be a mudblood because you want your character to be bullied or something silly like that. As far as characters' professions go, it's up in the air. My aim was to have our characters effected but the extent is up to the writer. If they're now homeless and jobless or if they're just struggling to make ends meet. It depends on their career path and family history but even wealthy people will be suffering, not as bad but they'll probably be pushed down to the lower-middle class section, which is probably as low as any of them are used to.
