Anya looked up when he answered and smiled when she saw him. Waving back, she hung the phone up and tossed it in the passenger seat, getting out to meet him. "Well, I guess its just fate." She joked, smiling at him. "Actually, my car won't start. I was wondering if you could give me a lift until I can get it to the shop tomorrow morning? Its ancient, probably older then us, and I am not good with mechanic related things." She said with a whimsical laugh. "I can give you some money for gas, its really not that far from here, maybe twenty minutes." She said, looking at him hopefully. The ringing of her phone brought her back to reality. "Excuse me." She said, reaching in the passenger window to grab her phone. She saw it was her mom who was calling so she answered. "Mom, hey, I can't talk now I'm bu-" "Miss Kingston, this is Officer Wilden calling, I found your number in your moms contact list. I'm calling to regretfully inform you we found your moms body. Her neck was ripped out and by the time our officers got here, it was too late. We need you to come identify her body, and get funeral arrangements," The news was a complete shock to Anya. Dropping her phone, she felt the familiar flood of emotions coursing through her. Closing her eyes, she tried to control it, but couldn't. All the car windows and the windows to the bar shattered, glass flying everywhere. She felt a piece from her own car window cut her arm, but she didn't pay attention to that. Opening her eyes, she saw the damage she had done. Did she do this? On the phone she heard the officer repeating her name. Picking it up, she confirmed with him she'd be there and hung up. She turned to face Damon with a tear stained face. "Um.. sorry, that was about my mom..." She said softly. She stopped there and looked around at the damage she had done. ~~ "Ah, you're right, love. I'm Marcel's first mate, so I have to make sure everyone checks out." He said, giving her a dazzling smile. Klaus watched as the brunette walked off before turning to Marcel. "I don't know if I trust her." He said, speaking in a low tone. "I'm not sure if I do, either, but we should give her a chance. She could be a good asset to New Orleans." Marcel stated, looking from Klaus to Cassie. "I'm just saying we shouldn't let our guard down around here, what do we really know about this girl?" He spat, his anger getting the best of him. "Patience, Klaus. Patience. I've dealt with much worse." Marcel said, being sure to keep his voice low. "We'll continue this later, for now, I've got a welcoming party to plan. With our new witch and new vampires." He said, standing up. He was taken off guard when the windows in the whole bar shattered. There was only one person he knew who could do that. Devina. Klaus noticed the look on his face. "What was that?' Klaus asked, standing up. "We're about to find out.." The two walked out and Klaus noticed the young bartender standing with Damon. "A witch... and a powerful one at that." Klaus said.
