There was a three month gap between Seattle and Chicago, maybe two weeks between the Casino and Richmond, probably another week between Chicago and Bend Oregon. Assuming that they didn't take long to get to the FBI, they probably knew each other for about four months from the first time they met at the Casino. 

I suppose there could be a six month time skip between these points, if you want, but that seems like a long time. At least to me. But we can go with that if you think it is good and necessary.
