She jumped when she heard a loud noise, her body swinging around on reflex to look for what could have caused the noise. Her eyes shot open as she noticed a boy. She watched, a bit incredulous, as her picked up his bike and began to look at the books in front of him. Leaning over a bit, Nel got a little peak at the shelf he was looking at. Nature and Animals? Then... She noticed the grasshopper on his shoulder and the ones at his feet. But those were only minor details. The big thing causing Nel to stare at this boy was the soft glow emitting from within his chest. It was a sort of brownish green color and shone from deep within his chest. Swallowing, Nel braced herself and walked back to her stuff. Shifting through her things, she pulled out a book she'd gotten from the library and opened it up to a bookmarked page. It took her a few minutes, but she thumbed through the pages, trying her best to find the god that could fit him. After looking through the few gods that represented some sort of Nature, the only one that really encompassed nature was Yum Kaax. She looked up from her book to look at the boy again and then down at the book. This was the first one she'd encountered. How did she even know she was doing this right? How did Ixchel know that she wouldn't just screw it up? Cause she felt like she would... She clapped the book closed and placed it back in her bag and swung her bag over her shoulder. With a quick breath, she walked over to the boy, set down her stuff and began looking through the books as well. "So... You like Animals? Or do they just like you?" She asked, motioning towards the grasshopper on his shoulder.
