Got a WIP for the bandit leader [hider=Lothar Jagdhund]Name: Lothar Jagdhund Gender: Male Age: 56 Ethnicity (see Ethnicity section): Northman Physical Description: Faction(Bandits/townsfolk): Bandits Rank/Role: Leader Items/Equipment: Skills/Talents: Lothar is a tenacious man that commands respect from his clan and knows how to balance using fear and camaraderie to keep the men from knifing each other. Lothar is handy with his axe and dagger, distinguishing himself as one of the fiercest fighters in the clan. He was born with a black heart and a killer’s mind, some say. He has an uncanny ability to sway men to his side and get what he wants. Something in his eyes. That, and he knows what drives most men and he uses it to his advantage at the negotiating table. Personality: Lothar can be blunt when he needs to and he often defaults to this when dealing with his men, but he also understands most people aren’t like his men. He knows how to sway people, and he would probably be equally at home in the council chambers of some highborn lord or lady as he is in the mud with his boys if it weren’t for his tendencies to use violence when necessary. You don’t win debates by burying an axe in someone’s skull but when you’re dealing with twenty hard, rough men looking to take what they want, it’s what you have to do. As of late, the winter has left its mark on Lothar. He watched some of his boys die to the cold and he made up his mind that old Volya wasn’t fit to lead the men if he couldn’t keep them alive in winter. So, he swayed the men, talked to those who had an ear for diplomacy and knocked some sense into those who valued physicality and led a mutiny. It was short-lived, as those who were the first to fall to Lothar’s hands knew it was either join him and live or go against him and die. The men backing him and their grim faces helped them along in the decision too, but in the end it was Lothar’s words that kept the clan together. Now, with the hard lessons learned from the winter past still fresh in the minds of the men, Lothar has set his sights on the warmth and shelter of Nilhm and he will find a place for his boys to stay.
