Adalina picked her head up and watched as the "boss" touched Cassandra's arms. "And what did Alastair do?" She was finding some confidence in her voice, but avoiding defiance. She didn't want to be next. She didn't remember much of her past life, but she knew that punishment was never pleasant. "And what are you doing to her?" she gestured to the girl with her chin.
