Okay, so I'm on board with the idea. So, their doing a quest online, but they're always fighting offline. They become friends online, and complain about the other offline, not knowing who the other is offline. Then they're forced to work on a group thing together offline? I'm thinking that will be a majority of it, but eventually one of them figures out somehow. So the offline conflict would be dealing with each other because they're enemies, and the online one will be the quest, but this kind of set up is just begging for one of them to find out eventually, switching the conflict over to what to do with that information, and where to go from there.
