Kido nodded. "I miss talking to her. I thought we might actually be getting to know each other a bit, but I guess I messed up somewhere." He stared down at the table sadly. "Is she still mad? She probably is, I'm sure. I don't know what to do, though. I haven't seen her since early yesterday."
