“Oh! Sarah Jane! I remember her.” the Doctor spoke up, some of Rose’s words finally starting to make some sense for him. Of course he could never forget his best friend! Granted, the exact way Rose described their most recent encounter didn’t exactly form a solid picture in his mind… but that was almost to be expected at this point. Regardless, he tried to think back to when he left her. “Last time I saw her, that was… three regenerations ago? Four? Certainly a long time…” he spoke, mostly to himself as he leaned against the TARDIS console and ran his fingers through his hair. Then, Rose started talking about the parallel universe again. “Oh, so, I brought you here? Is that it?” he asked, still searching his mind for anything familiar about this strange girl. The bit about her father wasn’t ringing many bells, though. “And you’re… human, correct?” he guessed. “Sorry — lots of Time Lord-looking things running around the universe. Hard to tell them all apart sometimes. I mostly guessed based on the clothes.” he told her.
