Cassandra was about to reply when Vlad ushered them along. She narrowed her eyes, but refused to let herself be humiliated, and caught up, not making a sound despite the fact that it hurt as she walked. It wouldn't heal until she could rest tonight, and perhaps mediated and draw in lunar energy to help her. Every time she walked, she could feel the warm blood trickle down her legs. But she smiled. Between Adalina and the guy she had tried to intervene for, she now had two incidents of helping. Hopefully that would spread. And if she went in there as if the injuries were nothing to her...well it would tick vlad off, she was sure. Which she couldn't afford right now. She bit her lip, wishing she could talk some more with Adalina. Her hands were bloody as she put pressure on the cuts to her elbows, stopping the bleeding and hopefully giving time for them to at least scab.
