Hide really didn't have a say in the matter of where people went or what they were going to be doing at the moment, especially with what had just happened. He frowned though as Rose told him no smoking, causing him to shake his head faintly. "Be careful out there, you two." He mumbled towards Rose and Adrian, just barely loud enough to be heard. He closed his eyes and sucked in a sharp breath as he heard doors close and the sound of people growing quiet. He should have asked for some help getting off of the table and for something to eat, but he now felt wasn't quite the time to be asking for things, wounded or not. And the more he thought about it, the less hungry he was. He just wanted to sleep. But now that he had gotten rather comfortable on the table, he wasn't quite sure he was going to to be able to move very far... he wasn't willing to just lay there either, though. Mustering up all of his willpower, Hide suddenly flipped himself over! Right off of the table. He had completely forgotten that he had scooted himself so close to the edge, but thankfully he was fast enough and managed to get his feet under him before he smacked onto the tile floor. The entire motion hurt, but it didn't show on his face as he grabbed the pack of cigarettes off of the table. He grabbed one of the few chairs in the kitchen and dragged it over towards a window before sitting down on it with a soft, tired sounding sigh. Stuffing the pack onto the window sill he carefully dug into one of his pockets and pulled out his phone. It was an old thing, his phone was. It had no camera, couldn't get pictures or videos, browsing the internet on it was impossible as well. The only thing this ancient flip-phone was good for was making calls, slow texting, and most importantly, checking the time and date. Though at this particular moment, he needed to let his boss know he wouldn't be able to work tonight, tomorrow, and probably not until after Monday. Flipping open the phone, he quickly starts to work on a text, but stops. How was he going to explain to his boss that he got hurt bad enough that he had to miss work? He worked as a doorman for a very popular bar, he got hurt nearly every night in one way or another... Shaking his head he continues the text before hitting send and leaning back slightly in the chair. Though the silence did not last long as his phone began to ring, not even a full minute after sending the text. Without looking, he flipped it open and shoved the phone to his ear. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT HIT BY AN INVISIBLE BUS FILLED WITH NINJAS?" A loud, feminine voice erupted from the phone. Loud enough to cause Hide to cringe a bit as he clenched his jaw. "I know you like to joke, but did you really get hit by a bus?!" "No, it was a figure of speech." Hide chuckles faintly. "But I won't be able to make it into work for a few days. I know I was supposed to work until Friday morning, but, hurt a bit too bad to really move much. I'll be good for after Monday, though." The other voice on the other end of the phone was quiet, but Hide could easily hear some soft grumbling and the background noise of the bar. "Alright alright. You don't usually stay down long though, so this must be something kind of serious if you are calling to tell me that you can't come into work. I'll figure something out. See you Monday afternoon!" The woman chimes happily before the line went dead. Hide merely groaned and shook his head, suddenly thankful he had such a wonderful, understanding boss.
